CC Mexicali in Colonia Rivera Campestre

CC Mexicali is a group of believers in the Lord Jesus Christ.  Much of the congregation consists of ex-drug addicts and ex-convicts who have experienced the transforming power of Jesus Christ in their lives.  It is a small chruch with a big heart for the lost.

CC Mexicali in Zona Centro

Located in the red district of Mexicali, this church is an outreach to the homeless and the families of prisoners.  A home-cooked meal is provided after the teaching of the Word each Sunday and a food box is given every other Sunday to the families of prisoners who attend each Sunday service.

CC Hongo

Capilla Calvario Hongo is a church plant of CC Mexicali.  The Aguilar family moved from Mexicali  to Hongo 2 1/2 years ago to start a Calvary on a ranch located at the foot of the Hongo prison.  Juan Carlos pastors the fellowship that the Lord has raised up; services are held throughout the week and on Sundays in the church building located on the Hongo ranch.  The ranch is also used for church retreats, campouts and the like and is often a place of overnight refuge for those released from Hongo prison.  Juan Carlos also conducts Bible studies in the Hongo and Tijuana prisons.

Casa de Tesoros

House of Treasures (Casa de Tesoros)  is a ministry which offers a safe haven for needy and/or abused mothers and their children.  Casa de Tesoros provides a home and all other needs of these families as they are discipled in the Word.  All the children are homeschooled with the mothers as active participants.  What a blessing to see how the Lord restores broken lives.

Prison ministry

John Barillaro has been active in prison ministry for over 13 years.  He and others from CC Mexicali hold Bible studies on Mondays, Tuesdays and Fridays in the Mexicali prison.  We have also had the opportunity to start Biblie studies in the Hongo, Tijuana and Ensenada prisons where other Calvary Chapels in those cities have since taken over the ministry.
